Hi. I built a gaming PC.

Whats your guy's thoughts on programs like iTunes? Worth installing on a PC for gaming? Will it slow it down?

Thanks

I highly doubt things like iTunes will slow down your computer if it's a gaming rig. The only thing that would 'slow it down' as such would be start up programs I guess. Unless you fill your hard drive I don't think your computer will slow.

^+1 I agree... If you got start-up programs(Which is turned on) will slow it down but the more programs you open and didn't close will be slowing you down... Any program intensive like games that your playing will lag because your CPU&GPU is too weak or HDD too slow(Basically 5400RPM/5900RPM HDD)...

A usless program that also doubles as a memory/bandwidth hog, would be anything Symantec (Norton). Pick up AVG, or Avast instead.
