This is the second time that I will be building a computer myself and I have done some extensive research on most of these parts for about 2 weeks now. I may be missing some things, so please share.
The intent of this build is a powerful gaming machine and trimming unnecessary costs around the edges, but with some upgradability in case I choose to add things like water cooling or a second graphics card, for example.

Now, I have chose this monitor, but reviews show that it is a glossy finish, and I am not sure if I will like it over a matte finish (what I have now). Also, it is a 2ms response time and a FANTASTIC contrast ratio, but like I said, is a 5ms monitor really that much different?
I really want to keep this under ~$1500, because I still need to buy a second desk, chair, keyboard, etc.
P.S. Another priority of this build is overclockability/cooling.
That's a good psu you have up there...it's manufactured by Enermax. This psu down below is also a good one manufactured by Seasonic. Comes in cheaper and it's on an even par with that LEPA so why pay more ?
Thanks for other recommendations. I am looking at this ASRock mobo. I have an ASRock now and it hasn't given me too many issues, but I'm not sure yet about saving money on a lesser brand Z68 which has features that I don't and won't ever need. The PCI-e 3.0 is interesting and I will have to think about whether or not I will just build a new system when I decide I need that feature. hmmm ;p
