I know the 4670 was around the same performance as the 9600GSO/8800GS. The 5570 is faster then the 4670, so the 5670 must be faster then the 4670 as well. I always assumed (oops!) that it was around the speed of the 9800GT. Turns out its a bit slower. They are very close at 1680x1050, but the 9800GT is just a touch faster from what I've seen in reviews. It does still lack DX11, eyefinity, uses more power, etc. I guess you'll have to chose which you want. (or just get the 5750 and have both.)

Yes it is. 5750 or the slightly better 5770 play games very well, they overclock well too. In my opinion Physx is a marketing thing. Definetly not worth it, very few Games actually make full use of it, and the ones that use it are not great games. nvidia and amd/ati make cards for any price range, but in the $90-120 range amd/ati rules by a lot with the 5750 and especially with the 5770.
