Hey guys,

I just recently got in my Asus Sabertooth Z77 Mobo, and im setting up a RAID 10. This is for work, and I have never set up a RAID before, and im having some problems.

I will tell you my steps that I have taken so that maybe you can get some insight.

First did a new install of windows.
Set everything up, and then went onto the RAID.
Installed my 4 1TB Seagate Barracudas, which all read to have 1tb worth of space in BIOS.
Im running my OS off of a 240gb SSD.
In BIOS I changed setting from AHCI to RAID.
Saved and exit.
On boot up, I CTRL+I and set up my RAID 10. Everything was going fine.

Then I went into windows and I checked Computer to see if it was there. It wasn't. I checked Intel Rapid Storage. It was reading that there is an array_0 with 4tb worth of space on it, but when I see each individual drive, they read 0GB each.

I made sure I have the SATA connectors in the blacks and browns, not the greys.

I don't know what is wrong....

Any help would be much appreciated.

The drive won't show up until its been initialized and partitioned. You can do this in "Disk Management"
