Hi, i have recented bought a Xeon E3-1220 V2 ivy bridge CPU. And im wondering if Gigabyte GA-Z68X-UD3H-B3 Motherboard Z68 LGA115 is compatible with the CPU?

Sure with a bios update using a sandy bridge cpu.

Seriously you didn't think to check the cpu compatibility list for the mobo? It would have been a lot faster than posting here....

i did checked. It only supports the sandy bridge E3-1220. But i kinda hope it would support the v2 ivy bridge as well
