Hello,
I need to know if sandy bridge can handle pci-e x16 because when u look at intel chipsets like h67,p67 or z68 in the diagram it says okay we can support x1,x2 and x4 so what does it mean . You can have a look at them in the Intel official site , I'm some kind of dazed here and need your help . Thank you

I don't know where you're getting this, but PCI-express has been around for a long time. I'm running on one of the first PCI-express cards, the GeForce 7600 GT (7 generations behind) on an i7-2600K processor and Z68 motherboard just fine. I'm sure everyone else is. As to the x4 and the such, I don't know what components use those. Video cards use the x16.
