I've got a i5 2500k at default clock settings (3.30GHz). The processors states it has Intel turbo boost which can boost the to 3.50GHz. So I went into the BIOS settings and noticed a setting called 'Intel Turbo Boost tech. The setting is set to auto which lets the BIOS select the necessary setting, but I can also enable/disable it. I was wondering if anyone cold tell me whether I should enable it, or leave it set to auto.

Also in the BIOS (Advanced Memory settings) menu there is a setting called performance enhance. You have STANDARD, TURBO or EXTREME. Under EXTREME it says 'lets system operate at it's best performance level. Subsequently TURBO says 'good' and STANDARD says 'basic'. Surely I should set it to EXTREME? default is TURBO. :bounce:
