I'm in the process of building a gaming system with a price of approx. AU$2000. Main use would be gaming (1080p) and word processing, internet, etc...
I have made the following choices in terms of hadware:
i7 3820
MOTHERBOARD ???
HAF x
Xigmatek Dark Knight Night Hawk CPU Cooler
1000W silverstone strider
16 gb ram 2133mhz (G.SKILL Rip Jaws)
120gb SSD ( foroperating system)
1 TB seagate hd
gtx 680 (palit jetstream, cheapest card in aus by nearly $100)
Normal Optical drive
Which motherboard should I purchase. My only constraints are: budget $200-300, I would not perfrom any manual overclocks in the BIOS but only with overclocking software included with the motherboard and I also want the ability to later upgrade to SLI in the next 18 months.
Feel free to suggest alternate components.
