PC Speaker sound is redirected to Audio Device

Hi Everyone

My new PC has Intel DH67BL Motherboard. This motherboard has a Piezoelectric speaker soldered to it.

The problem is that the PC speaker does not produce any beeps when it should, and all the sound that must come out of it is redirected to the audio device connected to the system. I use headphones so when there is any sound that should be coming out of PC speakers now comes out of my headphones plugged into the system.

The PC speaker beeps are useful to me as Skype and yahoo messenger use it to send notifications about incoming calls when there are no external speakers plugged in. But since I don't always use external speakers, there is no way of knowing the incoming calls when I'm not sitting at my computer.

I know there should be some option (or perhaps some hardware settings/jumpers) to change this behavior, but I can't find it. I have looked through the BIOS settings but no luck. Referred the manual for Intel DH67BL Motherboard too, but again no luck.

Can someone please help me solve this problem?

Thanks in advance.
