There's an AGP slot on the motherboard. Why doesn't the Nvidia GeForce fx 5200 work?

I uninstalled it, as per some other instructions I received. I did notice that disable was another option

I disabled it, installed an older version driver (56.72), and still nothing.

Yes, it starts normally, but Windows doesn't recognize the new hardware, as it does with most stuff. I used the installation CD that came with the card, but when I click 'install' I get an error message of 'unsupported' action. Most other drivers I've tried downloading, I get a message that the driver may not have installed properly. Others say they don't support my hardware. I purchased the card to resolve some issues with the imbedded driver (blue screen saying change video adapter) that were causing shut downs, and unable to start situations. I don't need any kind of great video card, as I do just daily computer stuff, not gaming. If anybody can recommend a card that will work for me, I'll just pass this one along to someone who has the time and patience to deal with it.
