External video adapter "card" ... firewire 800? .. or just slow usb2.0

I'm needing to add a 2nd video output to my imac .. I use thevbuilt in video (of course) and use the dongle adapter to utilize the minidvi port but need to add a 2nd (3rd?) display and was hoping to use the firewire 800 .. I don't need to do gmining but this is to projects video (slow motion graphics as well as dvd movie clips) onto a projector ... Does firwire800 have enough bandwidth to do this? I've been seeing usb adapters but at only 420Mbps (more like 380) I don't see how that's even possible .. but at 800 I can see potential .. is there such a thing there? .. and for a mac???

I am no mac expert but I would think fire-wire and usb graphic adaptor will perform very poor. Have you consider getting a new graphic card upgrade which is used by some of the hackintosh machine, they may work. Although I think someone with hackintosh experience will need to join this thread to give you better advice.
