Is 5ms LCD with LED Backlight monitor(DELL IN2020M) good enough for gaming??

I would try to save a little extra to get a 1920x1080 resolution monitor. Just because I think it is worth it.

The LED backlit is nice.

5ms, is more than enough. Supposedly the human eye cannot see a difference between a monitor with 2ms response time and a monitor with 5ms response time. So you got nothing to worry about there.
