Connect monitor with HDMI cabrl

Hi,
when i connect monitor with HDMI 1.4 cabel view is very bad:
pale color, blurry letters and black bars on the sides (3-5 centimeter.)

With old VGA cabel everything ok.
How fix this?

Monitor: Samsung XL2370HD (LED)
video card: Ati radion HD 3400 (DELL laptop)

You should get better color and video on the monitor thru a digital connection such as HDMI than an analog connection such as VGA. But you should also install monitor drivers and color profile set. Then go to Display Properties and make this color profile default.
