Cannot connext to xbox live after using ethernet for pc

HUGE PROBLEM! i had used a ethernet cord directly from the verizon modem to the xbox and the xbox live worked..i then used the same ethernet cord to get connection to my pc but now when going to use it for xbox live it says it fails in between the NETWORK and INTERNET..any one who could help me out there???

Try power cycling the Verizon modem.
