I recently upgraded my HD 4670 to a 6870 and I've had some problems since. I would be playing APB (All Points Bulletin) and I would be getting blue screens since the switch. I know this game is in beta so it has problems, but then I realized I was also getting artifacts on my desktop, which would disappear if you put a window over them but as soon as you remove the window they were still there. Once the PC blue screened on its own when there were several artifacts on the screen. At first I thought it was the driver. I uninstalled the current 11-6 and installed the last one 11-5 and ever since then I've had no artifacts or blue screens just some game crashes until today where once again while playing APB my PC blue screened. So I was wondering if this card is slightly faulty, or if the driver and the game are faulty, or I don't know what else really.

My parts are:
Intel q6600 at 2.7ghz
msi g31tm-(can't remember it completely but its micro atx and the chipset is g31)
CX600 from corsair 600w
Patriot ddr2 800 ram at 5-5-5-12

The card runs at about 60 degrees under load so its definately not overheating and the fans are only at 40%

Driver Sweeper has an adware in it called OpenCandy, is it safe? I know the 2.1 version doesn't have it so should I just use that?

Okay so I uninstalled the drivers and did the sweep and I installed the latest drivers 11-6, but then two games crashed my pc which normally they didn't, so I uninstalled, swept, and reinstalled the 11-5 drivers and it seemed to be alright until when I was playing a new game I got a blue screen again. To me it points out to the card being faulty.

Alright sorry for the really late response but I found the problem. It wasn't even the card at all, apparently for no reason my cpu's OC went all dumb and I put it back to defaults and its working flawlessly now. Thanks for the help.
