  1. Get the vengeance but get a low profile version if you can. The heatspreaders aren't necessary and will get in the way of some CPU heatsinks
  2. They will both work.

The Corsair Dominator platinum is bling and you would not notice a difference between the two sets even if there is.

    Get this instead, better timings:

You do not need 2133 either:

The difference would be like driving 60mph on the highway then going 61.2; you won't be able to feel or see a difference.
  3. You need THE 2133MHz memory exactly? Hmmm...then I highly recommend getting this, NOT Corsair.
Both Dominator and Vengeance are heavily overpriced "pew pew lasers!" lines which don't meet the expectations, really.
The memory that I've recommended you, will work just perfectly with Butthurt Field 3. >: )

Mushkin Enhanced doesn't get enough credit around here. Redline is a bit beefier than Blackline and uses non-JEDEC specifications including a higher voltage but it runs great. It's like Dominator but half the cost
  5. link is just the home page to newegg...

They're almost the same, but Red has some problems with temps, while Black already recommended itself as a very stable and durable memory. And Black looks MUCH better than Red, too.

Here use this if the link isn't working for you:

    CMZ8GX3M2A1600C8

Just Google or type it into Newegg.
  8. or get 16gb for 90 bucks for the 1600 speed
  9. Hm for 5 dollars more i can get the 2133

If you really wanted to, but I honestly don't think it's worth it, DDR3 1600 is perfectly fine and the timings are good.

You will never use 16GB unless you want to use a RAMDISK; only reason I have 16gb is because I got a killer good deal on Amazon and a memory fan.

Yeah the reds run at 1.65 volts. Mine don't get hot at all though, barely warm which is what I would expect
