Hi i just recived a free setup without the MB.
CPU: Q6600 ( never oc'd 2.4 )
Ram: Value Ram 4 gigs
HD: 2x Seagate 1tb 7200rpm
PSU: 700w Corsair
Monitor: 21" Samsung 1680x1050
GPU: Saphire 5750 1gb

I just ordered a MB online ( ASUS P5K DELUXE/WIFI-AP LGA 775 Intel P35 ATX Intel Motherboard )
I atleast want to get it running in the least. I got a extra couple bucks and this is just more
of a fun project on the side. I do also own 2 other mobo's i5 760 with 570gtx and a 2600k with a 580gtx. I guess the question is, is it worth buying 4 more gigs of ram and a better gpu ( looking at 560 ti or 6870 ) i figure this will cost around 300 - 350. I just want to be sure that the Q6600 wont bottleneck the 560ti. I will be oc'ing the Q6600 to as high as i possibly can on a CM212.

It depends on what you plan to do with it. If you are turning it into another gaming PC, then I think you are just wasting your money since you already have a PC for games.

If it were me I would just get it up and running, then store it away as an emergancy PC.
