Dunno. Depends on what you want to do with it I guess. I have had too
much foto fun with my Sony U50. It's tiny, it boots fast and is easy
on batteries. Goes everywhere, is loaned out and has not had any
breakdowns. The perfect 'instamatic' of the 2000s.

My Sony F828 has proven to be tough as nails.

I really like HP computers, but I feel that they are a bit new to
cameras for me. I stick with the old lines, like Kodak, Pentax, Nikon,
etc. That said, my neighbor sure likes her HP camera, and it makes
beautiful pictures.
Sony has good quality, but higher prices, and outrageously high prices
for memory sticks and other accessories.

My Sony F828 has performed very well and like Scott said, I think that I
could shoe horses with it. I like a bigger camera.

Sony's digital cameras have a great reputation. I don't think H-P's
digital cameras are all that good. Check http://www.dpreview.com for
reviews.
