Graphics card upgrade help

I am looking to buy a new graphics card for my Dell Studio XPS 8100 as my current one has gone bust. Could anyone tell me if the Sapphire AMD Radeon HD 6670 or the XFX ATI Radeon HD 5770 would run on it and also, is there a difference between these two cards? Because the specs seem identical to me...?
