My case right now is just over 16.5 inches in length and close to 8 inches in width. I am about to buy a MSI Z68A-GD55 Motherboard with an i5 2500k CPU and Noctua D14 cooler. My question is, will all this new hardware fit in my case?

I have a Radeon HD 4870 also, which is pretty big.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Without knowing specifically what case you have (manufacturer/model #) it's impossible to tell. Only thing I can say is you're purchasing an ATX motherboard. Make sure your case accepts ATX motherboards. Easiest way to tell is by looking at the rear of the case. Does it have room for four or seven expansion cards?

4 expansion cards. Guess that means I need to buy a new case *sigh*

I really don't want to be spending any more money.
