1600mhz ram running at 1333mhz

I bought corsair vengeance 8gn @ 1600mhz but if i go to cpu z it shows 667mhz which is 1333mhz and if i go to bios it shows 1333mhz. Is the specs of the ram wrong?

    The default in the bios setting is 1333mhz go to the bios, then change the ram clock speed to 1600mhz. nothing will go wrong.
  2. tim is right. Go into the BIOS and activate the xmp profile, which is for 1600 MHz.

  5. Your BIOS might have an option for different speeds... you won't notice the difference, honestly.
