Hi, I would like some advice on what components I could buy in order to improve my PC's performance when playing games. I am looking at trying to spec for high end graphics.
In terms of budget I'd like to keep things as cheap as possible ofc but as a guideline I'd like to spend £500ish.

My current PC model is the Acer Aspire G7200.
Processor: AMD Phenom 9650 Quad Core 2.3Ghz
RAM: 6Gb
Graphics Card: ATI RADEON HD 4600 Series 1Gb

If you need more info in order to help me please say and I'll find it out.

Thanks very much

P.S. I hope this is the right section, my pc was bought pre-built from PC World (to my shame) so I assumed the pre-built section would be correct.

Pre-built PC's are not the easiest or most worth while to upgrade, but in your case it seems do-able.

The only thing you would be able to do is a newer Graphics Card. Maybe a Sapphire Radeon HD6870.

Take a look at the Toxic Edition :

This card will suffice for your needs for atlest 3 years.

But first you will need to tell me what is the wattage on your powersupply? I can't seem to find the specs for it.

1. What is your PSU?
2. Does your MoBo have a PCIe 2.x slot?
