Is my GTX560Ti OC bottlenecked by my Intel Pentium Dual-Core e5800 3.2Ghz?
I get amazing performance in games, but i am just wondering: Am I able to get more if I had a i5 or i7.

Full Specs:

Intel Pentium Dual-Core 3.2GHz e5800
8GB DDR3 Ram
GTX 560Ti 1GB GDDR5 (-OC @ 900Mhz)
500w Antec PSU

And Also: Is it normal for my setup to lag alot when recording in fraps? I hardly get 5fps @ 1080p when recording with fraps, but with out fraps i get like 100fps.
And yes i know Fraps is a very demanding recorder, suggestions on better recorder welcome :)

Yes, it would improve a lot since an i5-2500k can deal much better at multi tasking (playing+record) than an E8500.

I went from a stock E8500 to a i7-2600k (not THAT better than a i5-2500k) and got a huge improvement!

Yes it's bottlenecked by your CPU, as for the recording software I recommend one of these 3: FRAPS, Game Cam, Taksi.

P.S: your video card is good enough, but of course you can always find better :)

Simple test. Get MSI Afterburner if you don't already have it. Load it up and start your game with it running. Alt+Tab out after playing for a while and inspect the graph with GPU Load. If your consistantly hitting 95% or greater on the graph then your GPU is the bottleneck, if the load is less than that then your CPU can't keep up.
