Geforce gtx 550 ti on P5Q-EM

I'm looking to upgrade to a Geforce gtx 550 ti from the g43/45 chipset included with the P5Q-em motherboard. I've got a 550 watt power supply and run Windows 7. I was wondering whether or not this card is compatible with my motherboard.

as long as you mobo has a PCI express 2.0 and you have enough room you should be fine

what brand and model of 550w PSU? if its a cheap brand it will probably burn up.
