PC turning on then off, then booting.

Hi lads,
Currently after assembling my first custom built PC and have run into a problem.

When i turn on the PC it comes on (leds come on ect), it then turns off and comes back on again. After it comes back on it runs perfectly with no faults. I have even installed Windows. Any help would be appreciated.

Specs:
Motherboard - Asus P8Z68-V B
PSU-Corsair GS600
RAM- Corsair Vengance
Disk Drive-Asus DRW-24B3LT
HD- Western Digital Carviar 500gb
OS- Windows 7
CPU- Intel i5 2500k

You may need to flash the bios with asus ez flash 2 flash utility program. First, check your bios file number at the top of the post screen. If it's the most recent file, then don't flash, since there's always a risk of a bad flash and dead motherboard. I'll assume you're uisng onboard video since a video card isn't listed. this is a common issue with asus motherboards--google asus double post to see

sometimes clearing the cmos helps
