I'm building a new system and looking for a new motherboard currently. I don't know very much when it comes to the motherboard portion of the PC building. Overall I will be playing games on this PC currently what I'm going to get is...

Processor: Intel Core i5-3570K Ivy Bridge 3.4GHz
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

Memory: CORSAIR Vengeance 16GB
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

Power Supply: CORSAIR HX Series HX850 850W
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

Graphics Card: EVGA 02G-P4-2678-KR GeForce GTX 670 FTW 2GB
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

I will also most likely be adding a second GTX 670. So I am looking for a good motherboard that will support all this and be good for gaming.

Not bad not bad. What's your budget?

For gaming, you really don't need anything higher than a P9Z77 V or V-PRO

BUT!

I'd go for the ASUS Maximus V Formula! Woo that board is HOT!

I recently built a new computer, almost same specifications but with 24GB RAM (Video editing hmm) and a Maximus V Extreme. Both the motherboard are almost the same, extreme is actually for extreme OC, formula is for gaming. And the sound! OH the sound on the formula is MIND-BLOWING. No kidding. I've tested it.

Yeah so, if you wanna game hard, there's nothing better than a Formula/Extreme.

Edit: Oh wait, just read that you got an i5. I got the i7 3770K. The i5 is actually better for gaming!

Looks like a good board! I don't have to much of a budget between 200 and 300 max. I was thinking about getting the I7 but just like you said everywhere i read recommended a I5 for gaming.

Yup! i5 is a lot better for gaming :)  I bought the i7 cuz I do a lot of graphic & video work. Go for the formula, you'll LOVE it! Have fun brother :)
