Wanting to Grade from Gtx 260 in 3way SLI

My setup is all about cooling and I play anything that tests my setup.

I am looking to upgrade from the GTX 260's to something better than a gtx 400 series? doesn't matter if its amd or nvidia... I will be water cooling these.

Water cooled 4 triple 120m rads with 12- 38mm Kaze 3000 fans (36,000rpms)

More about wanting grade 3way
  1. If you stretch out your budget a tad past $1K you can get three of these: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814162075&cm_re=gtx_570-_-14-162-075-_-Product

That actually comes to less than $1k :)
  3. 1)Or two gtx580 and ad another one later for 3way SLI.

    2x http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814130587

2)If those 1k do not include the water kit for the cards it will be ok, if not, 2x gtx570 with water cooling kits will go underneath 1k.

6970 in crossfire(2) will beat a 570 sli(2), but not by much. Since nvidia drivers are more stable or less buggy (by my knowledge) in multiple gpu configurations, nvidia should be the way to go.
