Dell Precison 530 motherboard form factor

I've got an old Dell Precision 530, and I'm thinking nice roomy good quality case in good condition, PSU OK, fans OK - why not use it as a base to build a new system?

I freely admit to being lazy with this post instead of opening it up and having a good look - does anybody know if the case takes a standard form factor motherboard or was it a (not unheard of with Dell) proprietary design?

The motherboard stand-offs in Dell computers are usually proprietary and I don't see why this one should be any different. Same story with fans and connectors for them. The case is ATX and not the usual Dell BTX cases. This is a plus!

Another item to pay close attention is the CPU heatsink. After-marker heatsinks may cause a problem in this enclosure.

Just these factors alone do not justify the use of this enclosure in a new build.
