I guess the buttons on the right side of the key board ? Bluetoth , Wifi, volume buttons ?

For them to work, you need to have Launch Manager running. Re install it from the drivers CD given by Acer.

take it back!, why are people so reluctant to take new stuff that does not work back to where they brought it, there've been at least 5 threads of a 'it's new and doesn't work' basis recently, the quicker you get it back the better, its that simple, going back in a month and telling them that you've been struggling to fix something for a long time won't get you very far.
