Hi,

I recently ordered an ASRock 970 Extreme3http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168... , and it came as a combo with Team Xtreem 8GB(2 x 4GB) DDR3 RAM http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168... , I recently checked the compatibility guide of my Mobo (http://www.asrock.com/mb/memory.us.asp?Model=970%20Extr...) and I cannot find it on the list. Do I need new RAM sticks or are they compatible?

It should work fine 99.9% of the time it will work even if it is not on the QVL. There is way to much ram on the market for them to test everything that is compatible.
