Either yes and I would say get the V6GT. V8 is noisy anyway and doesn't perform as well as the price increase.

I agree on the V6 being a better performer but it is more noisy compared to the V8. Have used both so telling from first hand experience. If noise is a concern then spend a bit more and get a Noctua cooler. They are very quite.
