How do I adjust memory timing?

Hey, everyone. I've had a certain freezing problem for a long time now, and I'm down to the very last suggestion. Adjusting memory timing in the bios. I swear I have this memory: http://www.amazon.com/Patriot-Sector5-PC3-12800-9-9-9-24-PGV38G1600ELK/dp/B003X1OE14/ref=sr_1_6?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1346013232&sr=1-6&keywords=patriot+memory+4x2gb but I have 4 sticks adding up to 8gb instead of 2. I believe this is because I purchased 2 sticks of 2gb memory twice from newegg. So this might be the more accurate one: http://www.amazon.com/Patriot-240-Pin-PC3-10666-9-9-9-24-PGV34G1333ELK/dp/B002MVFJTC/ref=sr_1_21?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1346013456&sr=1-21&keywords=patriot+memory+2x2+gb

Anyway, many people have suggested changing the "memory timing" in the bios to match that of the memory, but I have no idea how to do that. Could someone please walk me through it, step-by-step?

Solution
use cpu-z and read all the dimms one at a time. in cpu-z is a tab called spd. it reads the ram info for speed and timming. if you have two kits they may not be the same speed and timming and that can cause issues.

List your complete system specs. Also you linked to two completely different RAM kits. One is DDR3 1333 and one is DDR3 1600.
