Is 570 gtx worth 90€ more than 480?

Hello,

I´ve been looking for a graphics card I've found a 480GTX for 220€ while the EVGA 570 is 310€. If I´m not planning to do SLI (because my motherboard does not support it) is it worth the difference in games like BC2 or BF3 at 1080P?

PSU is a corsair ax850
CPU i5-760 @3,3ghz

In most cases the 570 will edge out the 480 but usually only slightly in the 1080p world.

Keep in mind that the 480 is more power hungry and runs hotter but if you don't care about heat output and your PSU can handle it, I would go for the 480...

depends on which 480 you are talking about hopefully an aftermarket one with good cooling... but to answer your question straight up I do not think the 570 is worth that much more, they are basically on par with each other with the 570 edging out the 480 in some cases, and in others the 480 edging out the 570 in others, performance wise they are basically the same card. If you got the case and airflow and cheap price on a good 480 then go for it, performance wise the 570 is not going to give you anything..
