Hello, I began a new build on a pc, this will be my fourth build. It started off the same as the ones i built before everything was wired together double checked, tried to start it up in a powercycle and it let off a spark, I took off all the hardware cpu ram etc. Now it only cycles on and off, I have tried different power supplys still does the same thing im pretty sure it's my mobo but what could have caused it also could my cpu and ram be damaged ? it was only on for a second.

MOBO= MSI p67a-gd53
Cpu= i5 2500K
Case= Xcilo godspeed one advanced black

Try the mobo+CPU+1 stick of RAM on a wooden table or some other non conductive material. Place the case next to it so you can use the power button or start by jumping the PWR pins with a screwdriver. You might have a short in the case, did you use the standoffs for the mobo? And only where they're needed?
