I need some real help here

K i just got my 21.5 inch monitor for my new gaming rig and i wanna use it as the main monitor for my laptop that i am using right now but i dont know how.

like i would liek to play games on it and such PLZ help anyone

i cant figure out how to make it the main display. im using windows vista home premium 32bit

Just connect an HDMI from your laptop to your monitor. If it doesnt have one use VGA/DVI.

Once it's connected, you may need to enable it (setting in your graphic card's control panel). If given the option at this time, enable it as an "extended" monitor. Once it's enabled, you should see an image on the monitor. Now, you should see both the laptop and the monitor in the graphic card's control panel. If you right-click on the monitor, your should be able to set it as "Primary".

These are just general steps, but should steer you in the right direction. I can't get more detailed without actually having your laptop.
