Intel i7 freeze

Hello,
i got 2 friends that build there pc's with i7 cpu but both of them freeze randomly how can this be ? they both use corsair ram ddr3

and cpu socket 1366

what sould be the problem? they dont bluescreen or crash they just freeze up so you have to reset pc

Check the drivers. Most cases like this are caused with out of date drivers for the audio or video card.

Make sure ram speed, timings and voltage are set correctly. Hopefully cpu temps aren't too high. Double check cpu temps with speed fan; if they are high, I wouldn't use the standard Intel heatsink/fan, get something cooler.

Also make sure that your motherboard's BIOS is up to date. That should fix any known CPU or chipset issues.
