  1. The CPU is fine, but ehh on the H61 Chipset for a couple reasons: 1. IB support may require a BIOS update (Fail to Post; requiring a donor CPU, Repair Shop or RMA to update), and 2. unless you'll NEVER need more RAM i.e. 4x_GB RAM.

Therefore, I'd look at one of the ASUS P8H77-M series - http://www.asus.com/Motherboards/Intel_Socket_1155/Intel_H77 as the most comparable options with your (IB) Ivy Bridge CPU.
  2. Wow that's a huge price jump, but I looked at your site and it's the best & cheapest option to support your CPU out of the box. I sorted -> http://www.scanmalta.com/eshop/components/motherboards/intel.html?mb2=292&order=price&dir=asc

The alternative is a Sandy Bridge CPU and the Asus P8H61-M LE/USB3, but at that site your choices are severally limited - http://www.scanmalta.com/eshop/components/cpu/intel.html

So yeah I'd get the IB i5 3450 and the P8H77-V LE (ATX) or if you need mATX form factor either the P8H77-M LE or P8Z77-M. The ASUS P8Z77-M might be a better option if you'll upgrade the CPU later.
  3. Thanks alot! :bounce:
