  1. I just built a great system on there for just over 9100 NOK

    Intel Core i5-2400 - 1499
    8GB Corsair Vengeance Black LP - 445
    Gigabyte GA-H61M-D2 - 549
MSI Twin Frozr III GTX 570 - 2695
    Coolermaster HAF 922 - 985
    Samsung Spinpoint F3 1TB - 440
    Lite-on DVD Burner - 199
    Corsair TX-550 550W - 595
    Crucial M4 128GB - 1550

Total - 9147 NOK Before Shipping

Maybe that is a tad expensive but that's a good solid gaming build, you could even upgrade the GTX 570 to a GTX 580 and stay within the budget. GTX 570 seems like better value though.
  2. Great, thanks a lot! =)

One question though; why not choose the i7? because of my budget? Should I invest more money and go for the i7 or is it just not worth it?

Also; with RAM - wth it being fairly cheap - should I go for 16GB, or is it little to gain vs the 8GB?

Thanks a lot with the help! Much appreciated! =)
  3. i7/16GB isn't really utilised in games. I dont think most games even utilise more than 4GB RAM at the moment, 8GB is nice for multitasking though. ie. Browser windows + music and downloads etc. As for the i7, you would get a very small performance increase that is definitely not worth the price in a gaming machine.
