Howdy,

I'm about to buy a 19" (or 21" ) lcd display.
I already desided to forget the 16ms response time ones as they are all still so small (17" ) that those do not serve my needs in graphics design well enough.

Now as I'm looking trough the reviews of 19" ones, there seems to be quite much difference in the ghosting and tearing of the moving image.

If you have either of the following displays, I would greatly appreciate your comments about the image quality when for example playing real time strage games or watching video.
- Samsung SyncMaster 191T
- Sony SDM-S91/W 19-in LCD

Also good succestions for other choices are greatly appreciated.

Ok, it seems that not too many knows about these displays. Then what about ViewSonic VG900 series displays?

I have had hard time trying to find any opinions about the 19" sized displays. Relying on the info given on producers site doesn't usually lead to objective decision.. :(

the Samsung 191t is a great looking monitor....for gaming it is borderline, an average response time of 25ms is not quite good enough.

for DVD's it's fine.

for graphic work i would caution you, the colour reproduction can be quite poor.

the successor, the 192t is coming out Q3 2003....so you could wait :)
