$695 intel i3 2120 or $696 amd 965BE and both will have about the same components (price update)
from what I've gathered an overclocked 965BE will out perform an i3 2120 but will i be able to use the stock heatsink. i plan on upgrading in the future and using the leftovers for a htpc. i guess im asking which would be better right off the bat and i know that i wont be able to max out all games but the price is about right.

lmao...this is too good. they should just disable human responses to this web board, have a bot just respond to every single post with one word "2500k".
didnt you know the i5k is going to solve world hunger? i know the the i5k is the sh@t, everyone knows that. i agree every question shouldn't be answered get the i5k. if it where the same price as the i3 2120 or 965be it would be a no brainier. in fact id get two.
i think i just found the answer. when i turn it into a htpc, the dell case has a 250w psu. intel uses 200w amd 250w. this info i got from psucalc, newegg psu calc said 241w intel and 319w amd. thankyou all for your help.
