Hi Guys,

I am totally confused about CPU and MOBO... will be using only for gaming.. intially shorlisted the i5 3570k along
with z68 or z77 mobo no idea which model or which brand to choose ASROCK or ASUS.... In india ASUS mobos are very costly as
compare to other countrys... but still if the asus is worth buying will go with it... Now the CPU , have read many reviews
about i5 3570k .. that it has heating issues when we OC ... but i wont be OC unless its require .. and if require max will
OC to 3.8 to 4.0ghz not beyond that... So is it worth buying 3rd genration or should i buy 2nd gerration i5 2500k...

Please suggest me the best budget MOBO along with best CPU ...

Current Config #

AMD phenom ii x4 945
ASUS M4A88TM
Corsair 8gb ram
CM hyper 212 evo
Corsair 500r with 5 fans
CM GX 550 psu.....................

Get ASRock Z77 Extreme4 & forget all your motherboard worries! It's 8+4 power phase mobo so unless you're doing extremely heavy OC on your CPU you should be perfectly fine.

For CPU go with the latest gen 3570K with your eyes closed, it only overheats when going above 4.3GHz OC & you can still do it comfortable if you have NH-D14 or water cooling...

I recently bought an i5 2500k Sandy Bridge just for the overclocking..plan on going to 4.5Ghz+ Since you posted in the ASrock forum I guess you looked at some of theirs? I have an ASrock Z75 Pro3, got it on newegg for $85.00 USD. Once my case comes in tomorrow I will be able to test it all out, lol.
