Can a s1155 CPU fit in s2011 socket?

Source? Even if you could, why would you want to though? There's no point in paying a high premium for an enthusiast motherboard and fitting it with a 'mainstream' socket 1155 CPU.

i change whole post sorry because of misunderstanding.
 
you cannot fit an lga 1155 (a socket with 1155 pins) processor in an lga 2011 (2011 pins) socket and vice versa. pin count, physical dimensions are very different. lga 2011 is for sb-e processors. these processors are quite bigger than lga 1155 processors.
 


its still wrong, there is no means of using an 1155 in a 2011 socket or vice verse period.

ivybridge will be a 1155 product some/most 1155 mobos will accept ivy bridge.
