SQ2250 DX8 issue

I have a Aureal SQ2250 sound card. It runs really fine until I installed DX8. Now the GamePort doesn't work.
How can I fix that issue?
The mobo is an Asus P3V4X

i have same board i just removed it and it's drivers and then reinstalled it with latest driders

Don't believe the drivers are DX8 compatable. But the newest one are floating around out there. My favorite site for drivers/information is vortexofsound.com. Latest Win98 drivers are available on their driver page, but you'll have to scour their forum for a link to the 2000 drivers.
