Favorites. When I Double click on "Favorites" I'm given
a small window (which I can Enlarge.) There must be some
way that I can change that view so that a full screen
emerges and not the small one. Help!

Where are clicking from and how are you enlarging?

Sorry I can't help.
I have the opposite problem.
Often when I click an icon or shortcut I get a full screen
I would like the window to open where, and the same size
as I left it.. (any size window would be OK)
Tried 'folder options\view\remember each windows view
settings'. Works for that session (sometimes) but usually
forgets after I reboot and I'm back to full screen again.
The problems seem related, so I'll keep an eye on the
answers you get.....

Do the *opposite* fix.

First, *close all other windows*. Now, grab the corners of the window
and drag it to full *the screen size you want*. Close the window
using File>Close,
or File>Exit depending what program you're in. Windows will remember
the last screen size used the next time you open the program.
