I've been purchasing items for my future gaming PC since April. My first item purchased was the motherboard. It's an Asus P8Z68-V LX. I've just finished purchasing all of the parts for this PC and would like to know whether or not I should build with this motherboard. Newegg has discontinued selling this product. I don't know when the next time will be that I end up dismantling my computer to purchase a new motherboard. I want my products to last for a good while. The other products that I've purchased for my PC are listed below.

Intel Core i5 2500K
Corsair HX750 750 Watt PS
8GB DDR3 G.Skill Ripjaws X
2GB Asus GTX 660 Ti
Cooler Master HAF X
Corsair H100

The 2500k and the Z68 chipset on your motherboard make for a rather potent gaming combination. The P8Z68-V LX is/was a rather popular mobo. I would think your mobo should be viable for quite some time. Keep what ya got there I say.
