Additional VGA Does Not Work

do you mean VGA display, or am i thinking of somthing else...
if im right, you shouldnt need additional software, go into control panel, find display, then screen resolution, and on the right side of the fancy picture with the rectangle (or square) with the 1 written in it, by now have the display plugged in, click the button detect and it should auto detect your second monitor

Your suggestion did not work. I had the extra VGA cable connected to the TV monitor with the VGA option on the TV switched on and the PC still did not regonise this VGA?
