Hello,
i have a You Have: AMD Athlon(tm) 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 4200+ and i want to get a better proccessor what can i upgrade to and any sujjestions on one that would be compatble with that chipset

Well, we need more information. What motherboard do you have? What are you looking to do with the computer after the upgrade? What do you intend to accomplish through the upgrade? What other components do you have? What's your budget?

ok this is my comp i was never able to figure out what kind of mobo i have i use it for gaming and dont have the money to build a hole new rig 200 is my bugdet

A new CPU isn't going to help you much man. I also cannot recommend one if I don't know what motherboard you have, as the Athlon 64 X2 is a pretty old design and nobody can recommend buying into old tech. If I were you I'd attempt a slight OC on the CPU and GPU, provided you have the cooling system for it, and save that $200 for a new motherboard/CPU combination. It's the best you can do at the moment, if you're not looking to buy disappointment.
 
With a $200 budget you can get an entirely new core and video card.

Try to piece together a system like mine.

Phenom 2 x4 830 or 840
2x 2GB RAM 1333
ATI Radeon HD 4870

That would be roughly 4x - 5x better for gaming and you can probably get all that for about $200 if you find a good deal somewhere.
