Well, we need more information. What motherboard do you have? What are you looking to do with the computer after the upgrade? What do you intend to accomplish through the upgrade? What other components do you have? What's your budget?

A new CPU isn't going to help you much man. I also cannot recommend one if I don't know what motherboard you have, as the Athlon 64 X2 is a pretty old design and nobody can recommend buying into old tech. If I were you I'd attempt a slight OC on the CPU and GPU, provided you have the cooling system for it, and save that $200 for a new motherboard/CPU combination. It's the best you can do at the moment, if you're not looking to buy disappointment.

If you must upgrade, try and find a Black Edition Phenom 1. That should word with what you have assuming your motherboard is Socket AM2+

With a $200 budget you can get an entirely new core and video card.

Try to piece together a system like mine.

M4N68T
Phenom 2 x4 830 or 840
2x 2GB RAM 1333
ATI Radeon HD 4870

That would be roughly 4x - 5x better for gaming and you can probably get all that for about $200 if you find a good deal somewhere.
