Sandy Bridge is a big improvement over the previous core i3/i5/i7. You should really jump on the 1155 socket.
Intel Core i3 2100 $125
H61/H67 motherboard < $80
4gb ddr3 1600 <$35
HD 6850 $150 [XFX] w/ $20 MIR
Rest on new psu around 500-550W.

Overclcok your graphic card with msi afterburner. The i3 2100 matches up to quad cores in gaming.

Omg there is no reason why you shouldn't grab that deal. Grab grab it! the i7-2600k is a waste of money but when the price is at par with the i5-2500k there is not reason you shouldn't get it. BUT! you need a good graphics card at least the HD6770 or higher. You won't be able to play BF3 with an HD graphics 3000.

Although, Rohit's build would be the best if you really are on a tight budget. You won't be able to play any games at med with integrated graphics card.
