Hi guys. I'm new at Tom's Hardware, so don't laugh at me if I post a topic into a wrong section or I wrote something outside of the rules.

Ok, so I have a simple question. I have VTX3D ATI Radeon HD 5770 graphics card which I bought several days ago.
I throw an eye at system requirements and it says that 450 Watt or greater power supply with two 75W 6-pin PCI Express power connector recommended

I have a 550W PSU with one 6-pin connector. So my question is what it means "two 75w 6-pin connector"? Does it mean a 6-pin connector with two molex?

The requirements list is incorrect --- the 5770 is a very low power GPU and only has 1 6-pin connector on the card (are you listing the requirements for Crossfire ?? ) there is no way to connect 2 6-pin adapters to a single card so there is no way the requirements would list 2 unless you are looking at the crossfire requirements which is for running 2 cards. You'll be fine as long as the PSU is actually rated correctly (what Brand is it ? ) -- the 5770 actually only uses a max of around 110W for the card.

Now I get it. I think two molex to 6-pin connectors are used at graphics that consumes more power.

So, for my HD 5770 I only need one molex to 6-pin connector like in picture:

two 75w 6pin connecter means 2 PCI-E 6 pin connecter.
a 2 molex to 6 pin is just called a molex to 6 pin, and I dont recommend anyone relying on those

The HD 5770 does not need two connectors, don't confuse the OP.

That's what I wanted to know from greghome. I thought two 75w 6-pin connector is two molex to 6-pin connector.
