I want to future proof this thing for a while, so am willing to spend a descent amount for it. For gaming, and it is my first build, so it has to look cool as well!!!!

In that second build you have a $220 board and a psu that will not push two of those cards. First build has a Rosewill psu.

For pushing two gtx 580's in SLI then look at these two psu's down below.

This one is manufactured by Enermax for LEPA and is modular.

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817194083 $179.99 - $129.99 after mail-in rebate card
LEPA G900-MA 900W SLI Ready CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS GOLD Certified Modular Active PFC Power Supply

or for a non modular psu for dual 580's...

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817371050 $129.99 - $109.99 after mail-in rebate FREE SHIPPING

http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductList.aspx?Submit=ENE&N=100007657%2050001669%20600014024&IsNodeId=1&name=801W%20-%20900W <---- For a psu to push dual gtx 570's either one of these XFX 850w will do the job. XFX is manufactured by Seasonic. One is modular, one is not.

For a cheaper yet effective modular psu to push dual 570's then here's one worth looking at imo.

LEPA B850-MA 850W ATX12V SLI Ready CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Modular Active PFC Power Supply

Ahh when I think I am figuring it out you post somthing like that above :??:

So was the 1st build good then? I was kind of leaning twards the 1st one. So would it be a better choice to run one gtx 580 or run two gtx 560ti cards? Im assuming the raixmax case is not any good? I am preeetttttyyyyy new to this, but thats why I am asking you experts in the first place! The board you picked has one 5 star review and one single star review, so that kind of throws me off there.

Notice that 1 star review says that the reviewer didn't purchase a "K" cpu? Well that's what we call "mentally retarded seeing how only the cpu's with a "K" at the end over clock. 2500K and 2600K. So yes, we can honestly say that reviewer is nothing short of a total moron and he's going to order another board and discover his cpu still won't over clock. That's why I take newegg reviews with a grain of salt. But the best thing about that reviewer is that he has his "Tech Level" maxed out on there. So we can actually call that reviewer a "Super Moron". :)

With dual 560's or a single 580...that's your call. If you think your going to purchase another card later on then the 580. If not, then dual 560's now.
